Oregon UAS Accelerator announces Spring 2025 cohort

The Oregon UAS Accelerator has selected five startup companies for its Spring 2025 cohort. The Accelerator is a 12-week intensive programme designed to propel early-stage uncrewed aerial system companies to market readiness. 

The Spring 2025 cohort includes:

  • 3Autonomy LLC: Developing an NDAA-compliant utility quadrotor platform with a Modular Open Systems Architecture, focusing on reshoring critical supply chain components for the US sUAS market.
  • Accipiter Aeroworks: A Nevada-based company creating innovative solar-powered VTOL aircraft for long-duration missions. The Gannet Solar-VTOL has demonstrated the ability to traverse 50km over three days and two nights across multiple fly-land-recharge-fly cycles.
  • DroneSpotter: Offering airspace awareness as a service through custom IoT hardware that tracks drone Remote ID signals, providing real-time and historical data via a cloud-based platform.
  • Morgan Geospatial: A provider of private, commercial, and government/municipal aerial UAS services, including photography, video, mapping, geospatial analysis, agriculture, construction management, and utility inspection. The company is also developing a new family of UAS airframes.
  • Ziz Defense Company: Creating an AI-powered defence architecture for detecting and neutralising UAS threats, combining acoustic triangulation and high-precision LiDAR technology.

Participation in the programme covers pitch preparation, business fundamentals, grant writing, and technical development. The selected companies will also receive a package of benefits including a USD 40,000 non-dilutive grant, access to the Pendleton UAS Range, dedicated office and workshop space. mentorship from industry experts, investor pitch deck creation and optimisation, and the opportunity to present and pitch their innovation to investors at the 2025 Pendleton Innovator Showcase.
