R2 has officially launched its ODIN RF omni-sensing platform at a counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) technology demonstration in Israel.
The invitation-only event included members from the Israeli Air Force, IDF Home Front Command, Directorate of Defense Research & Development, Israel Police, law enforcement agencies, industry, partners and investors.
The ODIN RF is designed to operate on land, at sea and in air atop commercial-off-the-shelf hardware. During the November 26 demonstration, R2’s ODIN omni-sensing platform was tested against advanced drones, including commercial drones that went through protocol hacking and modification, as well as drones which are typically seen in Ukraine, the company said on LinkedIn.
