The US Marines demonstrated a drone targeting system during a live-fire exercise at Marine Corps Base in Hawaii on October 23.
The ZeroMark fire control system is an AI-powered tool designed to improve aim accuracy and counter-drone capabilities, providing Marines with a portable, real-time threat detection and response tool.
During the demonstration, the system was attached to an M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle and operated in the presence of US service members and Department of Defense contractors.
In May, ZeroMark announced a USD7 million seed funding round led by venture capital firms Ground Up Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz.
