DroneSentry update integrates more sensors and data

DroneShield has released an update for DroneSentry-C2. Version 10.1 builds on the capabilities introduced in the 10.0 major version last quarter. More sensors are integrated, with more features available to control them, and the data accessibility has been improved.

Version 10.1 includes the following upgrades:

  • As part of ongoing expansion of available sensors, DroneSentry-C2 now fully integrates with the Echodyne EchoShield radar, in addition to the Echodyne EchoGuard and RADA RPS-82 radar. All radars will exhibit improved velocity readings.
  • The ability to use DroneSentry-C2 filters to suppress unwanted signals, or whitelist friendly known signals has been extended to the DroneSentry-X Mk2, completing the full suite of RF sensors.
  • More data is included in analytics tables, with more search and filter criteria available to view specific trends. Graphs have been updated to give a clearer first impression, and event replays show the historic threat percentage throughout the incident.
  • Camera auto-tracking has been upgraded to include options to track DroneLocator (Remote ID/Drone ID) detections in addition to radar-located drones. New quick actions allow users to override automatic camera movement, lock on to a specific drone, or cycle through views of known drones.
  • A new tab has been added in the sidebar to allow operators to write short messages visible to all users, so that situational information can be recorded inline in real time without the need for an external platform.
  • Artificial intelligence capability has been upgraded so that ThreatAI better evaluates drone behaviour (speed, altitude and direction), to let users more quickly assess new detections. Meanwhile, SensorFusionAI has refined distinction between drones, birds, and other airborne objects.
  • Zone intrusion events can play an alarm which notifies users of incidents when user-specified conditions are met.

Roll-out of DroneSentry-C2 version 10.1 begins today, October 1.
