Xplorate has secured regulatory approval from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) of Australia for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations up to 500 km in Queensland. The company currently operates the SwissDrones’ SDO 50 uncrewed helicopter in the region.
Active across Oceania, Xplorate provides uncrewed aerial surveillance, inspection, and search and rescue services.
At the end of 2023, CASA granted Xplorate a 330 km BVLOS approval for pipeline inspections in Queensland.
