Elbit Systems has been awarded a USD37M contract to supply its Iron Fist Active Protection System (APS) to General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems for upgrading the U.S. Army’s Bradley M2A4E1 Infantry Fighting Vehicles.
The Iron Fist is a hard kill system that protects against anti-armor threats including drones. It is the Israel Defense Force’s second-generation APS and is designed to provide 360-degree protection in both open terrain and complex urban environments.
The contract will be executed over 24 months.
