Operational Solutions Limited (OSL) is working with Wembley Stadium to secure the stadium from drone incursions.
The UK Reading-based company will deploy its Drone Alert Service (DAS) in support of Wembley. According to the company, DAS is the first subscription-based drone detection service in the UK. The services requires no hardware purchases for the end user, and an online dashboard, so drone flights are monitored in real time, providing information to identify the operator.
“The safety of our guests is our highest priority for all events at Wembley Stadium,” said Steve McGrath, Wembley’s Head of Security. “The deployment and 24/7 monitoring of the DAS system significantly enhances our capabilities and options around the detection of drones and drone usage around Wembley Stadium”.
“Wembley’s selection of OSL’s technology shows our ability to offer a diverse portfolio of solutions tailored to our client’s varied requirements, providing venues ranging from stadiums to airports and prisons,” said OSL Business Development Manager, Sam Lowe.
