Kookiejar of Sweden joins Drone Logistics Ecosystem, expands drone delivery services

Drone Logistics Ecosystem (DLE) has announced participation of the drone delivery company Kookiejar of Sweden (KOS) as the latest member to join the international association. Kookiejar is currently involved in several projects in Dubai, Sweden, Maldives and Monaco. Its main focus is to enable ground and air infrastructure together with Independent Business Group (IBG) sister company A2M which builds U-space services. Kookiejar chose the above geographies as a launch market to develop and validate elements of the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) eco-system and have long term plans to launch products and services in USA, China and Brazil which it believes to be key markets for volume operations.

“Joining DLE would allow us to network and align with like-minded pioneers of this new era of electric aviation fostering a sense of growth and empowerment towards each other. Our focus in the coming three years would be the mantra that the ground and airspace infrastructure must be ready when the heavy cargo drones and the first few vertical-powered lift vehicles are certified and ready thereby allowing us to reduce the downtime creating mass scale adoption. We have at least 6 pilot projects in the pipeline and 2 roll-outs in Europe. We are preparing for a major announcement for the GCC market in the last quarter of this year, partnering up with supply chain partners and also with key e-VTOL and drone manufacturers allowing us to design our systems and vertiports in conformance to the performance criteria of the eVTOL aircrafts,” said Wassaf Mohammed, Kookiejar of Sweden CTO.
