Elbit Systems has been awarded a USD55 million contract to supply its integrated multi-layered ReDrone counter UAS (C-UAS) system to the Dutch armed forces over a four-year period. The contract calls for the supply of multiple fixed, mobile and deployable ReDrone configurations, with logistics support and training.
The solution incorporates the company’s DAiR radar, a variety of signals intelligence sensors and the COAPS-L electro-optical payload, providing an integrated aerial picture and enabling high-end electronic attack responsiveness, coordinated by a unified command and control system. The system can detect, identify, locate, track and neutralize hostile UAS 24/7, in both urban and rural terrain and under all weather conditions, says the company.
