A medical analysis laboratory within the Cerba Health Care group has begun testing the use of drones to delivery blood samples between sites, according to a report in Ouest France. The Cerballiance medical laboratory in Granville and drone operator Délivrone began using night-time flights to deliver blood sample between Granville and St-Lô in May 2023. A 25 kg Déliverone drone carries out the 104 km return flight between dedicated landing sites at each facility.
