The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) seeks applicants for the position of Policy Specialist Airspace & ATM/UTM.
As an Airspace & ATM/UTM Policy Specialist, the applicant will be instrumental in the ‘ground-up’ development of the UK’s regulations and policies regarding unmanned aircraft systems traffic management (UTM). They will work alongside CAA and industry colleagues to deliver the UKs UTM solution. The role will see them act as a subject matter expert for UTM, at both a national and international level, requiring them to interact with a wide variety of partners in industry, academia, and other national aviation authorities. To this end, their ability to create positive relationships will form a core part of the role.
This role will places the applicant at the forefront of the urban mobility revolution and the modernisation of the UK’s ATM arrangements. Its work will be impactful and potentially ground-breaking in its scope, says the CAA.
