Denmark’s Nyheder news service reports Sweden’s defence ministry has ordered counter-UAS equipment from Denmark’s MyDefence.
According to the news report: “The equipment must first and foremost be able to stop civilian drones that weigh less than 25 kilos. First, units in the Swedish Air Force and Navy will receive the equipment, and by next year the Swedish Home Guard will also have the equipment. These are portable anti-drone systems called Pitbull and Wingman… The Swedish Armed Forces have also ordered vehicle-mounted systems from MyDefence. That system is called Dobermann and can disrupt the signal between drones and operators.
“The Swedish defence (ministry) is also conducting experiments with laser and microwave weapons.”
