Drone Delivery Canada has partnered with research and development organisation LOOKNorth Centre of Excellence to pursue the development of a ground-based sense and avoid system to enable safe Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight (BVLOS) drone delivery services.
LOOKNorth enables commercialization of remote sensing innovation to benefit Canadian SMEs & Northern communities by providing technical, business development and financial support. The establishment is a C-CORE national Centre of Excellence for commercialization and research, established under Canada’s federal Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE) program and supported by a network of industry and academic partners.
