Switzerland’s public-private partnership set up to develop and implement U-space in Swiss airspace (SUSI) has set up a subgroup of drone operators called SUSI-OPS. The forum will assist SUSI in the implementation of U-space services in order to ensure an operator-centric approach, according to a LinkedIn post by the partnership.
SUSI provides a testbed, where complex scenarios, services, technologies and capabilities are researched and finally demonstrated in a protected “sandbox” environment. In doing so, the industry gains necessary experience and shares evolutions and challenges to support the implementation of U-Space.
