A report in the Daily Star newspaper says China’s Electronics Technology Group Corporation [CETC] No 14 Research Institute exhibited a portable radar capable of tracking small low-level drones. The YLC-48 radar was on show at the Ninth World Radar Expo in Nanjing. “The radar’s light weight and simple one-button operation means it can be deployed virtually anywhere at a moment’s notice,” says the report.
