The European Commission has missed its latest deadline for adopting the U-space package – three regulations that together create the conditions necessary for both drones and manned aircraft to operate safely in a section of airspace known as “U-space”- which was most recently set for April 12 (https://www.unmannedairspace.info/emerging-regulations/european-commission-to-officially-adopt-u-space-regulatory-package-12-april/).
The technical issues which prevented the adoption of the package last week are continuing.
